Bagatelle LA., located in the former Boudoir space on La Cienega Boulevard in the heart of West Hollywood, opened in October 2011 featuring a multi-room St Tropez and Paris-inspired indoor/outdoor layout created by design firm Studio BRASA; and the culinary prowess of Bagatelle Executive Corporate Chef Romuald Jung, an alumni of great chefs Laurent Gras, Trois Gros and Daniel Boulud, in the kitchen.
"Bagatelle takes on a life of its own, due in no small part to the excellence of the cuisine we offer," said Brand Essence partner, Aymeric Clemente. "The food, combined with the cocktails and music, will make Bagatelle LA a West Hollywood hot spot in no time."
Bagatelle hosts globetrotters, neighbors, foodies, celebrities and tastemakers, providing a lively dining experience where guests can indulge in the restaurant's signature French Mediterranean dishes and fine selection of wines Champagnes. Bagatelle's patrons are treated to innovative and seasonal menu offerings from Chef Jung, as well as a menu of creative cocktails, inspired by the South of France. Adding to the overall ambiance, Bagatelle's signature music program features world-renowned DJs that will turn the dining rooms into an all day or night event, keeping guests entertained and enlivened for hours.
Created by design firm Studio BRASA, the 2,700 square foot restaurant’s motif reflects the salon of a Parisian apartment of an international jet-setter, recalling an ambiance and style that is effortlessly elegant, spacious and slightly cosmopolitan with crisp detail. Paying homage to the Californian alfresco lifestyle while infusing the South of France sophistication, guests can enjoy an enclosed dining room and bar area as well as an open patio space from season to season. Developed for the worldly iconoclast, elements of Parisian urban design are subtly re-imagined throughout the space, featuring a manicured garden hedge envelopes the upper outdoor patio, recalling a lush Parisian city garden. The indoor bar area features an oversized fireplace mantle, adding hearth to the versatile space. Complete with street-side seating, Bagatelle LA's operable glass panels allows the restaurant's energy to spill on to the Boulevard, creating a playful and interactive relationship with the city of Los Angeles and its purveyors.
